As one of only a handful of individuals across the U.S. to achieve Certified Sommelier, Cicerone® and spirits credentials, Tyler is devoted to education. He has taught over 150 seminars on wine, beer, spirits, food pairings and more. When not pursuing adventures in cuisine and culture across the globe you'll find him along a riverbank in his kayak or preparing gourmet meals at home.

Tyler started out in Scottsdale, AZ, where he honed his skills as a Sous Chef & bar manager. Over the last 10 years he has overseen numerous food & beverage programs; been a featured host and speaker at top wine events and penned articles and tasting notes for various publications such as Edible magazine.

Tyler is happy to bring his passion for travel, cuisine and service to Story Land & Sea.
